Removal









HEATING / AIR CONDITIONING: REAR AIR CONDITIONING UNIT: REMOVAL

1. REMOVE FRONT FENDER SPLASH SHIELD SUB-ASSEMBLY LH Removal

2. REMOVE FRONT FENDER SPLASH SHIELD SUB-ASSEMBLY RH Removal

3. REMOVE NO. 1 ENGINE UNDER COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY Removal

4. REMOVE ENGINE ROOM SIDE COVER LH Removal

5. REMOVE ENGINE ROOM SIDE COVER RH Removal

6. REMOVE UPPER RADIATOR SUPPORT SEAL Removal

7. RECOVER REFRIGERANT FROM REFRIGERATION SYSTEM Service and Repair

8. DRAIN ENGINE COOLANT Service and Repair

9. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
CAUTION:
Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal to disable the SRS system.
NOTICE:
- w/ Navigation System:
After the engine switch is turned off, the HDD navigation system requires approximately 6 minutes to record various types of memory and settings. As a result, after turning the engine switch off, wait 6 minutes or more before disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal.
- When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected Repair Instruction - Initialization.

10. REMOVE REAR NO. 2 SEAT ASSEMBLY LH
(a) Remove the rear No. 2 seat assembly Removal.
11. REMOVE REAR NO. 2 SEAT ASSEMBLY RH
(a) Remove the rear No. 2 seat assembly Removal.
12. REMOVE REAR FLOOR MAT REAR SUPPORT PLATE Removal

13. REMOVE REAR STEP COVER Removal

14. REMOVE REAR DOOR SCUFF PLATE LH Removal

15. REMOVE REAR SEAT COVER CAP (for Semi Power Seat) Removal

16. REMOVE FRONT QUARTER TRIM PANEL ASSEMBLY LH Removal







17. DISCONNECT AIR CONDITIONER TUBE AND ACCESSORY ASSEMBLY
(a) Using pliers, grip the claws of the clips and slide the 2 clips.
(b) Disconnect the heater water inlet hose and heater water outlet hose.
(c) Remove the 2 nuts.
(d) Disconnect the air conditioner tube and accessory assembly.
NOTICE:
- Do not use a screwdriver or similar tool to disconnect the tube.
- Seal the openings of the disconnected parts using vinyl tape to prevent moisture and foreign matter from entering them.

(e) Remove the 2 O-rings from the air conditioner tube and accessory assembly.
18. REMOVE REAR ROOF NO. 1 AIR DUCT





(a) Detach the 2 claws and remove the cooler plate.






(b) Remove the clip and duct.






19. REMOVE REAR COOLING UNIT ASSEMBLY
(a) Disconnect the 2 connectors.
(b) Remove the 4 bolts and rear cooling unit.
