Removal

EXTERIOR PANELS / TRIM: FRONT BUMPER: REMOVAL





1. REMOVE FRONT FENDER SPLASH SHIELD SUB-ASSEMBLY LH
(a) Remove the 3 bolts and 2 screws.
(b) Turn the clip indicated by the arrow in the illustration to remove the fender splash shield.
2. REMOVE FRONT FENDER SPLASH SHIELD SUB-ASSEMBLY RH
HINT:
Use the same procedures described for the LH side.

3. REMOVE ENGINE ROOM SIDE COVER LH Removal

4. REMOVE ENGINE ROOM SIDE COVER RH Removal

5. REMOVE UPPER RADIATOR SUPPORT SEAL Removal

6. REMOVE RADIATOR GRILLE ASSEMBLY Removal

7. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER COVER
(a) Put protective tape around the bumper cover.





(b) Using a T30 "TORX" socket, remove the 6 screws.





(c) Remove the 5 clips, 2 screws and 4 bolts.
(d) Detach the 10 claws, disconnect the No. 4 engine room wire connector and remove the bumper cover.









(e) w/ Headlight Cleaner System:
Disconnect the headlight cleaner hose and remove the bumper cover.






8. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER ENERGY ABSORBER
(a) Remove the energy absorber.






9. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER MOUNTING BRACKET LH
(a) Remove the bolt and bracket.
10. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER MOUNTING BRACKET RH

Use the same procedures described for the LH side.





11. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER REINFORCEMENT SUB-ASSEMBLY
(a) Remove the 6 nuts and reinforcement.






12. REMOVE FRONT NO. 2 BUMPER EXTENSION SUB-ASSEMBLY LH
(a) Remove the 4 nuts and bumper extension.
13. REMOVE FRONT NO. 2 BUMPER EXTENSION SUB-ASSEMBLY RH

Use the same procedures described for the LH side.





14. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER SIDE SUPPORT LH
(a) Remove the 2 screws.
(b) Detach the 3 clips and remove the side support.
15. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER SIDE SUPPORT RH
HINT:
Use the same procedures described for the LH side.

16. REMOVE HEADLIGHT ASSEMBLY LH Removal

17. REMOVE HEADLIGHT ASSEMBLY RH
HINT:
Use the same procedures described for the LH side.





18. REMOVE FRONT UPPER CENTER BUMPER RETAINER
(a) Remove the 3 bolts and bumper retainer.
