3UR-FE COOLING: WATER PUMP: REMOVAL

1. REMOVE V-BANK COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY Removal

2. REMOVE ENGINE ROOM SIDE COVER LH Removal

3. REMOVE ENGINE ROOM SIDE COVER RH Removal

4. REMOVE UPPER RADIATOR SUPPORT SEAL Removal

5. REMOVE FRONT FENDER SPLASH SHIELD SUB-ASSEMBLY LH Removal

6. REMOVE FRONT FENDER SPLASH SHIELD SUB-ASSEMBLY RH Removal

7. REMOVE NO. 1 ENGINE UNDER COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY Removal

8. DRAIN ENGINE COOLANT Service and Repair

9. REMOVE AIR CLEANER HOSE ASSEMBLY Removal

10. REMOVE AIR CLEANER ASSEMBLY Removal

11. REMOVE NO. 1 RADIATOR HOSE
12. REMOVE NO. 2 RADIATOR HOSE
13. REMOVE FAN SHROUD Removal

14. REMOVE NO. 1 WATER BY-PASS HOSE [1][2]Removal







15. DISCONNECT NO. 2 WATER BY-PASS PIPE SUB-ASSEMBLY (w/ Oil Cooler)
(a) Disconnect the No. 6 water by-pass hose.
(b) Remove the 3 bolts.
(c) Disconnect the water by-pass pipe with water hose.
16. REMOVE WATER INLET HOUSING






(a) Disconnect the No. 2 and No. 3 air hoses.
(b) Disconnect the air pump connector.
(c) Disconnect the air pump connector clamp holder.
(d) Using a clip remover, detach the wire harness clamp.






(e) Disconnect the No. 5 water by-pass hose.
(f) Remove the air tube bracket bolt.






(g) Disconnect the No. 3 water by-pass hose and remove the 3 bolts and water inlet housing.
(h) Remove the gasket from the water pump.
17. REMOVE WATER PUMP PULLEY






(a) Using SST, hold the water pump pulley.

(b) Remove the 4 bolts and water pump pulley.
18. REMOVE WATER PUMP ASSEMBLY






(a) Remove the 8 bolts, water pump and gasket.
