Removal









3UR-FE COOLING: RADIATOR: REMOVAL

1. REMOVE V-BANK COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY Removal

2. REMOVE ENGINE ROOM SIDE COVER LH Removal

3. REMOVE ENGINE ROOM SIDE COVER RH Removal

4. REMOVE UPPER RADIATOR SUPPORT SEAL Removal

5. REMOVE RADIATOR GRILLE Removal

6. REMOVE RADIATOR SIDE DEFLECTOR RH (w/o Air Cooled Transmission Oil Cooler)






(a) Using a clip remover, remove the 5 clips and side deflector.
7. REMOVE RADIATOR SIDE DEFLECTOR LH






(a) Using a clip remover, remove the 5 clips and side deflector.
8. REMOVE FRONT FENDER SPLASH SHIELD SUB-ASSEMBLY LH Removal

9. REMOVE FRONT FENDER SPLASH SHIELD SUB-ASSEMBLY RH Removal

10. REMOVE NO. 1 ENGINE UNDER COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY Removal

11. DRAIN ENGINE COOLANT Service and Repair

12. REMOVE AIR CLEANER HOSE ASSEMBLY Removal

13. REMOVE NO. 1 RADIATOR HOSE
14. REMOVE NO. 2 RADIATOR HOSE
15. REMOVE FAN SHROUD






(a) Loosen the 4 nuts holding the fluid coupling fan.
(b) Remove the fan and generator V belt. Removal






(c) Disconnect the reservoir hose from the upper radiator tank.
(d) w/ Air Cooled Transmission Oil Cooler:
Detach the claw to open the flexible hose clamp.
(e) Remove the 2 bolts and disconnect the oil cooler tube from the fan shroud.
(f) Remove the 2 bolts holding the fan shroud.
(g) Remove the 4 nuts of the fluid coupling fan, and then remove the shroud together with the coupling fan.
NOTICE:
Be careful not to damage the radiator core.

(h) Remove the fan pulley.
16. REMOVE RADIATOR ASSEMBLY






(a) Disconnect the 2 oil cooler hoses.






(b) Remove the 4 bolts and radiator.
