3UR-FE COOLING: THERMOSTAT: INSTALLATION

1. INSTALL WATER INLET SUB-ASSEMBLY WITH THERMOSTAT






(a) Install a new gasket and the water inlet with thermostat with the 3 nuts.
Torque: 10 Nm (102 kgf-cm, 7 ft-lbf)






(b) Install the air tube bracket bolt.
Torque: 10 Nm (102 kgf-cm, 7 ft-lbf)
(c) Connect the No. 5 water by-pass hose.
HINT:
Install the hose so that the direction of the hose clamp is as indicated in the illustration.





(d) Connect the air pump connector clamp holder.
(e) Attach the wire harness clamp.
(f) Connect the air pump connector.
(g) Connect the No. 2 and No. 3 air hoses.

5. INSTALL AIR CLEANER ASSEMBLY Installation

6. INSTALL AIR CLEANER HOSE ASSEMBLY Installation

7. ADD ENGINE COOLANT Service and Repair

8. INSPECT FOR COOLANT LEAK Testing and Inspection

9. INSTALL UPPER RADIATOR SUPPORT SEAL Installation

10. INSTALL ENGINE ROOM SIDE COVER RH Installation

11. INSTALL ENGINE ROOM SIDE COVER LH Installation

12. INSTALL V-BANK COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY Installation

13. INSTALL NO. 1 ENGINE UNDER COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY Installation

14. INSTALL FRONT FENDER SPLASH SHIELD SUB-ASSEMBLY LH Installation

15. INSTALL FRONT FENDER SPLASH SHIELD SUB-ASSEMBLY RH Installation
