Rear Side Door Stationary Window Replacement
Removal Procedure
1. Remove the rear door trim panel. Refer to Rear Side Door Trim Panel Replacement Service and Repair
2. Remove the rear door water deflector. Refer to Rear Side Door Water Deflector Replacement (Service and Repair).
3. Remove the rear door inner belt sealing strip. Refer to Rear Side Door Window Inner Sealing Strip Replacement (Rear Side Door Window Inner Sealing Strip Replacement).
4. Remove the rear door outer belt sealing strip. Refer to Rear Side Door Window Outer Sealing Strip Replacement (Rear Side Door Window Outer Sealing Strip Replacement).
5. Lower the rear door window as low as possible into the door opening.
6. Remove the rear door window to rear door window regulator bolts (1, 2).
7. Slide the rear window glass down to the bottom of the rear door while keeping it in the front weatherstrip channel.
8. Partially remove the rear door window weatherstrip from the channel between the rear door window and the rear door stationary window and part way across the top of the rear door window.
9. Remove the stationary window to rear door screws.
10. Remove the rear door stationary window to rear door bolt.
11. Rotate and remove the rear door stationary window from the rear door.
Installation Procedure
1. Align the rear door stationary window to the rear door.
2. Make sure that the rear door window is in the channel of the rear door stationary window.
Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.
3. Install the rear door stationary window to rear door bolt.
Tighten the bolt to 10 Nm (89 lb in).
4. Install the rear door stationary window to rear door screws.
Tighten the screws to 2 Nm (18 lb in).
5. Slide the rear door window up from the bottom of the door keeping it in the channels.
6. Install the rear door window to rear door window regulator bolts (1, 2).
Tighten the bolts to 10 Nm (89 lb in).
7. Check the rear door window movement for proper operation.
8. Install the rear door window weatherstrip.
9. Install the rear door outer belt sealing strip. Refer to Rear Side Door Window Outer Sealing Strip Replacement (Rear Side Door Window Outer Sealing Strip Replacement).
10. Install the rear door inner belt sealing strip. Refer to Rear Side Door Window Inner Sealing Strip Replacement (Rear Side Door Window Inner Sealing Strip Replacement).
11. Install the rear door water deflector. Refer to Rear Side Door Water Deflector Replacement (Service and Repair).
12. Install rear door trim panel. Refer to Rear Side Door Trim Panel Replacement Service and Repair
13. Raise the rear door window to the full closed position.
