BRAKE CONTROL / DYNAMIC CONTROL SYSTEMS: STEERING ANGLE SENSOR: INSTALLATION

1. INSTALL STEERING ANGLE SENSOR






(a) Align the installation holes on the steering angle sensor with the pins on the spiral cable.
(b) Attach the 6 claws to install the steering angle sensor to the spiral cable.
2. INSTALL SPIRAL CABLE SUB-ASSEMBLY Installation

3. INSTALL UPPER STEERING COLUMN COVER Installation

4. INSTALL LOWER STEERING COLUMN COVER Installation

5. ADJUST SPIRAL CABLE Installation

6. INSTALL STEERING WHEEL ASSEMBLY Installation

7. INSTALL STEERING PAD Installation

8. INSTALL LOWER NO. 2 STEERING WHEEL COVER Installation

9. INSTALL LOWER NO. 3 STEERING WHEEL COVER Installation

10. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
NOTICE:
- Reset the Autoaway/Return function setting to the previous condition by changing the customize parameter Repair Instruction - Customize Parameters.
- When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected Repair Instruction - Initialization.

11. CHECK SRS WARNING LIGHT
(a) Check the SRS warning light Diagnosis System.
