Coolant Thermostat Housing Overview





1. O-ring
• Replace if damaged.

2. Retaining Clip
• Make sure it is secure.

3. Coolant Thermostat Housing
• Removing and installing, refer to Service and Repair

4. Bracket

5. Bolt
• 10 Nm

6. Coolant Thermostat
• Pay attention to the installed position.
• Checking: Heat up thermostat in water.
• Opening begins at approximately 80°C (176°F)
• Ends at approximately 105°C (221°F).
• Opening lift minimum. 7mm.

7. Adapter

8. Seal
• Always replace.

9. Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor -G62-
• With the engine coolant temperature gauge sensor -G2-
• For the Engine Control Module (ECM).
• If necessary release pressure in the cooling system before removing.
