Rear Folding Seat Back Cover Replacement

Removal Procedure




1. Remove the seat back. Refer to Rear Seat Back Replacement (Stationary Seatback) (Rear Seat Back Replacement (Stationary Seatback))Rear Seat Back Replacement (Split Folding Seatback) (Rear Seat Back Replacement (Split Folding Seatback)).
2. Remove the rear seat back from the frame.
3. Remove the J-hook retainer at the bottom of the seat.
4. If seat with armrest, remove the seat back armrest. Refer to Rear Seat Armrest Replacement (Folding) (Rear Seat Armrest Replacement (Folding))Rear Seat Armrest Replacement (Non-Folding) (Rear Seat Armrest Replacement (Non-Folding)).




5. Remove the trim staples from the seat back cover.




6. Carefully separate the hook and loop retainers securing the seat back cover to the seat back pad.




7. Pull the seat back cover up and off the seat back.


Installation Procedure




1. Pull the seat back cover down over the seat back.




2. Firmly press the seat back cover to the seat back pad to secure the hook and loop retainers.
3. Install the trim staples to the seat back cover.
4. Install the J-hook retainer at the bottom of the seat back.
5. If equipped, install the seat back armrest. Refer to Rear Seat Armrest Replacement (Folding) (Rear Seat Armrest Replacement (Folding))Rear Seat Armrest Replacement (Non-Folding) (Rear Seat Armrest Replacement (Non-Folding)).
6. Install the rear seat back to the frame.
7. Install the seat back. Refer to Rear Seat Back Replacement (Stationary Seatback) (Rear Seat Back Replacement (Stationary Seatback))Rear Seat Back Replacement (Split Folding Seatback) (Rear Seat Back Replacement (Split Folding Seatback)).
