Front Wiper Motor

Removing

- Remove the wiper linkage. Refer to => [ Wiper Arm Linkage ] Wiper Arm Linkage.

- Remove the wiper links from the wiper motor crank.

- Remove the three bolts securing the wiper motor to the module bracket.

- Remove the motor from the module bracket leaving the crank attached to the motor.

Installing

- Position the motor and crank assembly to the wiper module bracket and secure with the three bolts. Tighten the bolts to 12 Nm (9 ft lbs).

- Install the links to the motor crank, using grease.

- Install the wiper linkage. Refer to => [ Wiper Arm Linkage ] Wiper Arm Linkage.

- Install the cowl panel..

- Connect the battery negative cable. Refer to => [ Battery, Disconnecting and Connecting ] Tools and Equipment

- Install the wiper arms. Refer to => [ Front Wiper Arm ] Front Wiper Arm.

- Align the wiper arms and tighten nuts to 30 Nm (22 ft. lbs.).
