VEHICLES AFFECTED: 1981-1982 FIREBIRD MODELS WITH CERTAIN RPO LG4 5.0L LITER ENGINES


General Motors has determined that some 1981-82 Pontiac Firebird models may develop restricted catalytic converters resulting in poor engine performance or a no start condition..

To prevent the possibility of the condition occurring, it will be necessary to revise the catalytic converter on the involved vehicles.
