Rear Side Door Window Weatherstrip Replacement

Removal Procedure

1. Lower the rear door window to the full down position.
2. Remove the rear door trim panel. Refer to Rear Side Door Trim Panel Replacement Service and Repair
3. Remove the rear door water deflector. Refer to Rear Side Door Water Deflector Replacement (Service and Repair).
4. Remove the rear door inner belt sealing strip. Refer to Rear Side Door Window Inner Sealing Strip Replacement (Rear Side Door Window Inner Sealing Strip Replacement).




5. Pull the rear door window weatherstrip from the rear door.

Installation Procedure





Important: Lubricate the vertical window channels with the soap and the water.


1. Align the rear door window weatherstrip to the rear door.
Start in the rear corner and position the weatherstrip in both directions.
2. Apply pressure to rear door window weatherstrip into the vertical window channel until fully seated.
3. Raise the rear door window to ensure the rear door window weatherstrip is positioned properly.
4. Install the rear door inner belt sealing strip. Refer to Rear Side Door Window Inner Sealing Strip Replacement (Rear Side Door Window Inner Sealing Strip Replacement).
5. Install the rear door water deflector. Refer to Rear Side Door Water Deflector Replacement (Service and Repair).
6. Install the rear door trim panel. Refer to Rear Side Door Trim Panel Replacement Service and Repair
