Front Floor Console Replacement
Removal Procedure
1. Remove the front floor console trim plate. Refer to Front Floor Console Trim Plate Replacement (Front Floor Console Trim Plate Replacement).
2. Remove console shifter control trim plate bolts.
3. Disconnect the required electrical connectors.
4. Remove the screws from the front floor console mounting bracket at the rear of the transaxle shift lever.
5. Open the front floor console armrest.
6. Remove the mat from the front floor console storage compartment.
7. Remove the screws from the front floor console mounting bracket at the rear storage compartment base.
8. Remove the screws from the front floor console mounting at the front mounting point.
9. Pull the front floor console rearward, up and out.
10. Remove the front floor console from the vehicle.
Installation Procedure
1. Align the front floor console to the floor.
2. Connect the required electrical connectors.
Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.
3. Install the screws to the front floor console mounting bracket at the rear of the storage compartment base.
Tighten the front floor console rear of storage compartment base screws to 6 Nm (53 lb in).
4. Install the screws to the front floor console mounting bracket at the rear of the transaxle shift lever.
Tighten the front floor console rear of transaxle shift lever screws to 6 Nm (53 lb in).
5. Install the screws to the front floor console at the front mounting point.
Tighten the front floor console front mounting point screws to 6 Nm (53 lb in).
6. Install the mat to the front floor console storage compartment.
7. Install console shifter control trim plate bolts.
Tighten the console shift control trim plate bolts to 20 Nm (15 lb ft).
8. Install the front floor console trim plate. Refer to Front Floor Console Trim Plate Replacement (Front Floor Console Trim Plate Replacement).
9. Close the front floor console armrest.
