Front Floor Console Trim Plate Replacement

Removal Procedure




1. Remove the traction control switch from the front floor console trim plate. Refer to Electronic Traction Control Switch Replacement (Service and Repair).
2. Raise the front floor console armrest.
3. Remove the screws from the front floor console trim plate.
4. Open the front floor console cupholder.
5. Pull up on the front floor console trim plate starting at the rear and working forward to release the retainer clips.
6. Lift the front floor console trim plate up and over the transaxle shift lever.
7. Remove the front floor console trim plate from the front floor console.

Installation Procedure

1. Install the traction control switch to the front floor console trim plate. Refer to Electronic Traction Control Switch Replacement (Service and Repair).




2. Align the front floor console trim plate to the front floor console.
3. Install the front floor console trim plate to the front floor console pressing into place until fully seated.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.

4. Install the screws to front floor console trim plate.

Tighten the front floor console trim plate screws to 2 Nm (18 lb in).

5. Close the front floor console cupholder.
6. Lower the front floor console armrest.
