Front Floor Panel Carpet Replacement

Removal Procedure

1. Remove the front seats. Refer to Front Seat Replacement - Bucket (Front Seat Replacement - Bucket) in Seats.
2. Remove the front floor console. Refer toFront Floor Console Replacement (Front Floor Console Replacement) in Instrument Panel, Gauges and Console.
3. Remove the I/P insulators. Refer to Instrument Panel Insulator Replacement (Left) (Instrument Panel (IP) - Insulator Replacement - Left)Instrument Panel Insulator Replacement (Right) (Instrument Panel (IP) - Insulator Replacement - Right) in Instrument Panel, Gauges and Console.
4. Remove the front seat belts and buckles. Refer to Seat Belt Buckle Replacement - Right Front in Seat Belts.
5. Remove the rear seat cushion. Refer to Rear Seat Cushion Replacement (Rear Seat Cushion Replacement) in Seats.
6. Remove the carpet retainers. Refer to Front Side Door Opening Floor Carpet Retainer Replacement (Front Side Door Opening Floor Carpet Retainer Replacement).
7. Reposition the front and rear door weather strip.
8. Remove the center pillar lower trim panel. Refer to Center Pillar Lower Trim Panel Replacement (Center Pillar Lower Trim Panel Replacement).
9. Remove the quarter lower trim. Refer to Quarter Lower Rear Trim Panel Replacement (Quarter Lower Rear Trim Panel Replacement).




10. Pull the carpet from the front and rear of the floor.




11. Remove the carpet from the vehicle.

Installation Procedure





Caution: In order to avoid personal injury or vehicle damage when you repair or replace the carpet, use the same thickness and material size as the original installation. Always return the carpet to the original location.

1. Align the carpet to the front and rear of the floor.
2. Install the center pillar lower trim panel. Refer to Center Pillar Lower Trim Panel Replacement (Center Pillar Lower Trim Panel Replacement).
3. Install the carpet retainers. Refer to Front Side Door Opening Floor Carpet Retainer Replacement (Front Side Door Opening Floor Carpet Retainer Replacement).
4. Install the front seat belts and buckles. Refer to Seat Belt Buckle Replacement - Left Front and to Seat Belt Buckle Replacement - Right Front in Seat Belts.
5. Install the quarter lower trim. Refer to Quarter Lower Rear Trim Panel Replacement (Quarter Lower Rear Trim Panel Replacement).




6. Install the rear seat cushion. Refer to Rear Seat Cushion Replacement (Rear Seat Cushion Replacement) in Seats.
7. Install the I/P insulators. Refer to Instrument Panel Insulator Replacement (Left) (Instrument Panel (IP) - Insulator Replacement - Left)Instrument Panel Insulator Replacement (Right) (Instrument Panel (IP) - Insulator Replacement - Right) in Instrument Panel, Gauges, and Console.
8. Install the front floor console. Refer to Front Floor Console Replacement (Front Floor Console Replacement) in Instrument Panel, Gauges and Console.
9. Install the front seats. Refer to Front Seat Replacement - Bucket (Front Seat Replacement - Bucket) in Seats.
