Center Mounted Brake Lamp: Service and Repair

HIGH-MOUNT BRAKE LIGHT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION

1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.

2. Remove the liftgate upper trim.

3. Pull the high-mount brake light in the direction of the arrow (2) shown in the figure and remove it while detaching tabs A and tabs B in the direction of the arrow (1).






4. Disconnect the connector.

5. Install in the reverse order of removal.
