Electronic Throttle Actuator: Service and Repair

THROTTLE BODY REMOVAL/INSTALLATION - 2.5L









1. Remove the Air Cleaner (ACL) outlet pipe. See - Air Cleaner Outlet Pipe Removal/Installation.

2. Disconnect the electrical throttle control electrical connector.

NOTE:Discard the Throttle Body (TB) gasket.
3. Remove the 4 bolts and the TB.

- Install a new TB gasket.

- To install, tighten to 10 Nm {1.0 kgf-m, 89 in-lbf}.

4. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
