INTERIOR PANELS / TRIM: FRONT CONSOLE BOX (w/ Cool Box): INSTALLATION

HINT:
A bolt without a torque specification is shown in the standard bolt chart Standard Bolt - Specified Torque For Standard Bolts.

1. INSTALL COOLING BOX ASSEMBLY





(a) Attach the 2 claws.
(b) Connect the connector.
(c) Sufficiently apply compressor oil to 2 new O-rings.
Compressor oil:
ND-OIL 8 or equivalent
(d) Install the 2 O-rings to the 2 cooler pipes.
(e) Connect the 2 cooler pipes with the 2 bolts.
Torque: 9.8 Nm (100 kgf-cm, 87 in-lbf)
(f) Install the cooling box with the 4 bolts and 2 screws.
2. INSTALL TELEPHONE ECU ASSEMBLY WITH BRACKET (w/ LEXUS Link System) Installation

3. INSTALL REAR CONSOLE END PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY






(a) Connect the connectors and 3 clamps.
(b) Attach the 6 claws to install the end panel.
4. INSTALL NO. 1 COOLER COVER






(a) Attach the claw on the upper part of the cooler cover, and then attach the clamp on the lower part of the cooler cover to install it.
5. INSTALL UPPER CONSOLE PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY






(a) Connect the connectors.
(b) Attach the 13 claws to install the console panel.
6. INSTALL CONSOLE CUP HOLDER BOX SUB-ASSEMBLY






(a) Attach the 4 claws to install the box.
7. INSTALL PARKING BRAKE HOLE COVER






(a) Attach the 6 claws to install the cover.
8. INSTALL LOWER CENTER INSTRUMENT CLUSTER FINISH PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY






(a) Connect the connectors.
(b) Attach the 8 claws to install the panel.
9. INSTALL SHIFT LEVER KNOB SUB-ASSEMBLY






(a) Install the shift lever knob and twist it in the direction indicated by the arrow.
10. INSTALL INNER NO. 1 INSTRUMENT PANEL BRACKET COVER RH






(a) Attach the clip to install the cover.
11. INSTALL LOWER INSTRUMENT PANEL PAD SUB-ASSEMBLY RH






(a) Attach the 9 claws to install the panel pad.
12. INSTALL INNER NO. 1 INSTRUMENT PANEL BRACKET COVER LH






(a) Attach the clip to install the cover.
(b) Install the clip.
13. INSTALL LOWER INSTRUMENT PANEL PAD SUB-ASSEMBLY LH






(a) Connect the connector.
(b) Attach the 8 claws to install the panel pad.
14. INSTALL FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY LH
(a) Install the front seat assembly LH Installation.
15. CHARGE REFRIGERANT Service and Repair

16. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL (w/ LEXUS Link System)
NOTICE:
When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected Repair Instruction - Initialization.

17. WARM UP ENGINE Service and Repair

18. CHECK FOR REFRIGERANT GAS LEAK Service and Repair

19. INSTALL UPPER RADIATOR SUPPORT SEAL Installation

20. INSTALL ENGINE ROOM SIDE COVER RH Installation

21. INSTALL ENGINE ROOM SIDE COVER LH Installation
