SEAT: FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY: INSTALLATION

HINT:
- Use the same procedures for the LH side and RH side.
- The procedures listed below are for the LH side.

1. INSTALL FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY LH
(a) Place the front seat assembly in the cabin.
NOTICE:
Be careful not to damage the vehicle body.

(b) Connect the seat wire connectors under the seat.
(c) Connect the cable to the negative (-) battery terminal.
NOTICE:
When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected Repair Instruction - Initialization.

(d) Temporarily install the front seat assembly with the 4 bolts.
(e) Operate the power seat switch (slide switch) to move the seat to the rearmost position.






(f) Tighten the bolts in the order shown in the illustration.
Torque: 37 Nm (377 kgf-cm, 27 ft-lbf)
(g) Operate the power seat switch (slide switch) to move the seat to the foremost position.






(h) Tighten the bolts in the order shown in the illustration.
Torque: 37 Nm (377 kgf-cm, 27 ft-lbf)






2. INSTALL REAR INNER SEAT TRACK BRACKET COVER LH
(a) Attach the 2 claws to install the cover.






3. INSTALL REAR OUTER SEAT TRACK BRACKET COVER LH
(a) Attach the 2 claws to install the cover.






4. INSTALL FRONT INNER SEAT TRACK BRACKET COVER LH
(a) Attach the 2 claws to install the cover.






5. INSTALL FRONT OUTER SEAT TRACK BRACKET COVER LH
(a) Attach the 2 claws to install the cover.
(b) Reset the Autoaway/Return function setting to the previous condition by changing the customize parameter Repair Instruction - Customize Parameters.
6. INSTALL FRONT SEAT HEADREST ASSEMBLY
7. INSTALL ENGINE ROOM SIDE COVER LH Installation

8. CHECK SRS WARNING LIGHT
(a) Check the SRS warning light Diagnosis System.
9. INSPECT FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY
(a) Check the power seat operation Front Power Seat Control System.
(b) Check the seat heater operation.
(1) Turn the engine switch on (IG).
(2) Turn the seat heater switch on.
(3) Wait 5 minutes or more and confirm that the seat surface becomes warm.
(c) w/ Climate Control Seat System:
Check the climate seat operation Climate Control Seat System.
