Disassembly

INTERIOR PANELS / TRIM: FRONT CONSOLE BOX (w/ Cool Box): DISASSEMBLY

1. REMOVE NO. 2 AIR CONDITIONING CONTROL ASSEMBLY Removal

2. REMOVE REMOTE CONTROL ADAPTOR ASSEMBLY (w/ Rear Seat Entertainment System) Removal

3. REMOVE REAR CONSOLE BOX MOUNTING BRACKET






(a) Remove the 4 bolts and bracket.
4. REMOVE CONSOLE COMPARTMENT DOOR SUB-ASSEMBLY






(a) Remove the 6 screws and door.
5. REMOVE COOLING BOX ASSEMBLY






(a) Remove the 4 screws.
(b) Detach the 10 claws and remove the cooling box.
6. REMOVE AIR CONDITIONING AMPLIFIER ASSEMBLY






(a) Disconnect the connector.
(b) Remove the screw and amplifier.
7. REMOVE COOLER CONTROL SWITCH SUB-ASSEMBLY






(a) Detach the 2 claws.
(b) Disconnect the connector and remove the switch.
8. REMOVE NO. 2 COOLING BOX BRACKET






(a) Remove the 2 screws and mounting bracket.






(b) Remove the 2 screws and bracket.
9. REMOVE COOLING BOX BRACKET






(a) Remove the 2 screws and mounting bracket.






(b) Remove the 2 screws and bracket.
10. REMOVE COOLING BOX BASE






(a) Remove the 10 screws and cooling box base.
11. REMOVE COOLING UNIT CASE SUB-ASSEMBLY






(a) Remove the 2 screws and air duct from the case.
12. REMOVE LIQUID HOSE






(a) Remove the bolt and liquid hose.
(b) Remove the O-ring from the liquid hose.






13. REMOVE LOWER COOLING UNIT CASE SUB-ASSEMBLY
(a) Remove the screw.
(b) Disconnect the 3 connectors.
(c) Remove the 4 holding springs and lower cooling unit case.
14. REMOVE UPPER COOLING UNIT CASE






(a) Remove the cooling unit case.






(b) Slide the case upwards and remove it.
NOTICE:
Do not detach the hooks and open the case.

15. REMOVE NO. 3 COOLER THERMISTOR






(a) Remove the cool box insulator.






(b) Remove the thermistor.
16. REMOVE NO. 1 COOLER BLOWER MOTOR SUB-ASSEMBLY






(a) Remove the 2 screws.
(b) Detach the 4 claws and remove the blower motor.
17. REMOVE NO. 2 COOLER EVAPORATOR SUB-ASSEMBLY






(a) Remove the evaporator.
