Using WiTECH
1. Install a battery charger and verify that the charging rate provides 13.0 to 13.5 volts. Do not allow the charger to time out during the flash process. Set the battery charger timer (if so equipped) to continuous charge.2. Connect the wiTECH pod to the vehicle data link connector located under the steering column.
3. Place the ignition in the "RUN" position.
4. Open the wiTECH desktop application.
5. Starting at the "Vehicle View" screen, select "PCM" from the modules on the "Vehicle View" screen illustration.
6. Select the "Flash" tab at the top of the screen.
7. Select the required wiTECH flash file from the list of flash files.
8. With the cursor over the desired flash file, click the small green arrow button on the right side of the screen.
9. Follow the wiTECH screen instructions.
10. Clear all Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTC's) by clicking the "Clear DTC's" button.
11. Obtain the Personal Identification Number (PIN) for that vehicle.
NOTE:
The PIN number can be obtained from the original selling invoice, DealerCONNECT > Parts > Key Codes, or contacting the District Manager.
12. Select the "Return to Vehicle View" button.
13. Select "WCM" from the vehicle view illustration.
14. Select the "Misc. Functions" tab on the WCM View screen.
15. From the list, select "PCM Replaced" and click on the green arrow to the right of the item selected.
16. Follow the wiTECH screen prompts to complete the PCM programming.
17. Remove the ignition key from the ignition for one minute.
CAUTION:
Failure to remove the key from the ignition for one minute may cause a "No Crank" condition.
18. Insert the key and place the ignition in the "Run" position.
19. Select the "Return to Vehicle View" button.
20. Select "PCM" from the vehicle view illustration.
21. Select the "Misc. Functions" tab.
22. Select "Check PCM Odometer" from the list and click on the green arrow to the right of the item selected.
23. Follow the wiTECH screen prompts to complete the odometer programming.
24. Select the "Return to Vehicle View" button.
25. Clear all Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTC's) by clicking the "Clear DTC's" button.
26. Select "PCM" from the modules on the "Vehicle View" screen illustration.
27. Select the "Misc. Functions" tab.
28. Select "Learn ETC" from the list and click on the green arrow to the right of the item selected.
29. Follow the wiTECH screen prompts to complete the Electronic Throttle Control (ETC) programming.
30. Select the "Return to Vehicle View" button.
31. Select "TCM" from the modules on the "Vehicle View" screen illustration.
32. Select the "Misc. Functions" tab.
33. Select "Quick Learn" from the list and click on the green arrow to the right of the item selected.
34. Follow the wiTECH screen prompts to complete the Quick Learn programming.
35. Select the "Return to Vehicle View" button.
36. Clear all Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTC's) by clicking the "Clear DTC's button.
37. Turn the ignition to the "OFF" position and remove the wiTECH and battery charger from the vehicle.
