Exhaust Gas Recirculation (EGR) Valve Pipe Replacement (Intake)

Removal Procedure




1. Remove the intake exhaust gas recirculation (EGR) pipe retaining bolts and the intake EGR pipe.
2. Remove the intake EGR pipe gasket.

Installation Procedure





Caution: Refer to Safety Glasses Caution Safety Glasses Caution in Cautions and Notices.

1. Clean the intake EGR pipe mating surfaces.
2. Install a new gasket.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.

3. Install the intake EGR pipe.

Tighten the intake EGR pipe retaining bolts to 10 Nm (89 lb in).
