Daytime Running Lamp Control Unit: Service and Repair

REMOVAL PROCEDURE




1. Remove the driver knee bolster trim panel.
2. Disconnect both of the connector position assurance (CPA) connectors.
3. Disconnect the DRL module electrical connectors.




4. Remove the DRL module from the instrument panel (IP) center support bracket.
Release the tabs, then pull down on the module to release.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE




1. Install the DRL module to the IP center support bracket.
Align the module slots to the bracket tabs, then pull up to secure.




2. Connect the module electrical connectors.
3. Connect both the CPA connectors.
4. Install the driver knee bolster trim panel.
