Test P: Outside Temperature Display Is Flashing

Disconnect the outside air temperature sensor connector. Turn the ignition switch to the RUN position and observe the outside temperature display.

1. If the display is now blank, replace the outside air temperature sensor.

2. If the display is still flashing, check the PNK/WHT and TAN(901) wires for a short to ground. If good, then replace the instrument cluster.
