B-Pillar Trim Panel, Upper

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

Trim Removal Wedge (RMCP101)

Removing






- Remove and discard the trim cover (1) from the seat belt adjuster (4) on the upper B-pillar in order to access the front seat belt guide bolt (2). The trim cover is not intended for reuse.

- Remove the bolt (2) securing the seat belt guide to the seat belt adjuster (4) on the upper B-pillar (5).

- Remove the seat belt guide from the adjuster (4).

- Remove the B-pillar lower trim panel. Refer to => [ B-Pillar Trim Panel, Lower ] B-Pillar Trim Panel, Lower.

- Using trim removal wedge (RMCP101) , remove the B-pillar upper trim panel (3).

Installing






- Position the B-pillar upper trim panel (3) over the slots and firmly snap into place.

- Install the lower B-pillar lower trim panel. Refer to => [ B-Pillar Trim Panel, Lower ] B-Pillar Trim Panel, Lower.

- Position the seat belt guide to the adjuster (4) on the upper B-pillar.

- Install and tighten the bolt (2) securing the seat belt guide to the adjuster. Tighten the bolt to 39 Nm (29 ft lbs).

- Install a new trim cover (1) onto the seat belt adjuster (4).
