Fan Shroud: Service and Repair

Cooling Fan Shroud

Removing






- Disconnect the negative battery cable..

- Drain the cooling system below the upper radiator hose. Refer to => [ Cooling System Draining and Filling ] Cooling System Draining and Filling.

- Remove the coolant recovery reservoir. Refer to => [ Coolant Recovery Reservoir ] Coolant Recovery Reservoir.

- Disconnect the fan motor electrical connector (1).






- Remove the radiator upper hose (3).

- Remove the fan shroud (2) by lifting upward in order to release the shroud from the mounts.

Installing






- Position the fan shroud (2) into the mounts and attaching clips on the radiator.

- Install the radiator upper hose (3).






- Connect the fan motor electrical connector (1).

- Install the coolant recovery reservoir. Refer to => [ Coolant Recovery Reservoir ] Coolant Recovery Reservoir.

- Fill the cooling system. Refer to => [ Cooling System Draining and Filling ] Cooling System Draining and Filling.

- Connect the negative battery cable.
