Exhaust System, Installing

• Align exhaust system when cold.

- Remove front clamping sleeve bolts => [ (Item 10) Front clamping sleeve ] Description and Operation and => [ (Item 12) Front clamping sleeve ] Description and Operation.

- If equipped, remove rear repair sleeve bolts => [ (Item 4) Right repair sleeve ] Description and Operation and => [ (Item 6) Left repair sleeve ] Description and Operation.

- Press exhaust system forward - arrow - until the following tensions are set on the individual retaining loops.





• Front right retaining loop: Dimension - a - = 2 mm.

• Front left retaining loop: Dimension - a - = 4 mm.





• Rear left and right retaining loops: Dimension - a - = 10 mm.





- Hold exhaust system in this position and tighten clamping sleeve bolts evenly to 23 Nm.

• A 2nd technician is needed to align the exhaust system with repair sleeves between front and rear mufflers.

• If all adjustment dimensions are not achieved, remove affected bracket from body and shift accordingly.

- Align tail pipe. Refer to => [ Attach tail pipe to rear muffler and align. ] Service and Repair.
