Front Sealing Flange and Coolant Pump Cover Bolt Tightening Sequence and Specification






- Tighten the bolts - 1 through 17 - in the sequence shown to 8 Nm.

Control Housing Bolt Tightening Sequence and Specification






- Tighten the bolts - 1 through 18 - in the sequence shown to 20 Nm.

Lower Bearing Bracket Bolt Tightening Sequence and Specification






- Tighten the main bearing bolts in three passes and in the sequence shown as follows (- arrow - points in driving direction).

1 - Tighten using a Torque Wrench

1st pass = 35 Nm

2nd pass = 65 Nm

2 - Tighten Further using a Ratchet

3rd pass = 180° (1/2) additional turn.
