Right Coolant Pipe

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

• Hose clamp pliers (VAS 6340)

• Clamp pliers (VAS 6362)

Removing

• All cable ties opened or cut during engine removal must be reinstalled at the same locations during installation.

- Drain the cooling system. Refer to --> [ Cooling System, Draining and Filling ] Procedures.

- Remove right rear coolant pipe. Refer to --> [ Right Rear Coolant Pipe ] Right Rear Coolant Pipe.

- Remove electrical connectors - 1 through 4 - from bracket on right strut tower.





- Remove connector bracket from strut tower.

- Disconnect electrical harness connector - arrow - at Camshaft Position (CMP) sensor 3 (G300).





- Remove the bolts - 2 - and - 3 -.





- Remove right coolant pipe from coolant hoses at places marked with - 1, 4, 5, 6 -.

Installing

Installation is performed in reverse order of removal, noting the following:

• Secure all hose connections with hose clamps appropriate for the model.

• During installation, all cable ties must be reinstalled at the same location.

- Install right rear coolant pipe. Refer to --> [ Right Rear Coolant Pipe ] Right Rear Coolant Pipe.

- Fill cooling system. Refer to --> [ Filling ] Procedures.
