Rubber Bonded Bushings






Rubber Bonded Bushings

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

Thrust piece 3291/1 from the assembly device (3291)

Spindle from the assembly device (3292)

Thrust pieces 3348 and 3348/1 from the front and rear bearing tool (3348)

Internal puller (Kukko 21/7) - 1 -

Counter support (Kukko 22/2) - 4 -

Example of The Identification on a "02D" Rear Final Drive





The marking - arrow - on the bottom side of the rear final drive identifies which final drive is installed.

Removing

Upper Bushing

CAUTION!
Wear protective gloves.

To position the counter support:

- Break two pieces out of the bushing collar - arrows -.





- Remove the metal core - 1 -.





- Remove the rubber bonded bushing - 1 - using the following:





A - Support (Kukko 22-2)

B - Internal puller (Kukko 21-7)

Lower Bushing

- Remove the bushing - 1 - with a front and rear bearing tool (3348) and plastic mallet.





Installing

Lower Bushing

- Pull the bushing - 1 - far enough up until the collar contacts the entire circumference on the rear final drive.





Upper Bushing

- Pull the bushing - 1 - down far enough until the collar contacts the entire circumference on the rear final drive.
