Rubber Bonded Bushings Overview

• Replace the rubber bonded bushings in pairs (upper and lower bushings).





1 "Upper rear" rubber bonded bushing

• With buffer.

• Remove the buffer for removal and installation of the bushing.

• Removing and installing, refer to => [ Rubber Bonded Bushings ] Rubber Bonded Bushings.

2 "Lower rear" rubber bonded bushing

• Without buffer

• Removing and installing, refer to => [ Rubber Bonded Bushings ] Rubber Bonded Bushings.

3 "Lower rear" rubber bonded bushing

• Without buffer

• Removing and installing, refer to => [ Rubber Bonded Bushings ] Rubber Bonded Bushings.

4 "Lower front" rubber bonded bushing

• With buffer

• Remove the buffer for removal and installation of the bushing.

• Removing and installing, refer to => [ Rubber Bonded Bushings ] Rubber Bonded Bushings.

5 Rear final drive

• Remove to replace the rubber bonded bushings

• Passat, removing and installing. Refer to => [ Rear Final Drive ] Rear Final Drive.

• Passat CC, removing and installing. Refer to => [ Rear Final Drive ] Rear Final Drive.

• Tiguan, removing and installing. Refer to => [ Rear Final Drive ] Rear Final Drive.

6 "Upper front" rubber bonded bushing

• Without buffer

• Removing and installing, refer to => [ Rubber Bonded Bushings ] Rubber Bonded Bushings.

7 "Upper rear" rubber bonded bushing

• With buffer

• Remove the buffer for removal and installation of the bushing.

• Removing and installing, refer to => [ Rubber Bonded Bushings ] Rubber Bonded Bushings.
