Manifold, Front Pipe and Catalytic Converter, Replacement





1 - Bracket
- For heat deflector
2 - 25 Nm (18 ft lb)
3 - Heat deflector
4 - 35 Nm (26 ft lb)
5 - EGR valve
6 - EGR temperature sensor
7 - Ferrule
8 - 30 Nm (22 ft lb)
9 - EGR line
10 - Heated Oxygen Sensor (HO2S)
- 50 Nm (37 ft lb)
- Lubricate threads with "G5"
- "G5" must not get into or near slots of sensor
- Remove and install with 3337
11 - Three Way Catalytic Converter (TWC)
12 - Seal
- Always replace
13 - 40 Nm (30 ft lb)
14 - Heat shield
15 - 10 Nm (7 ft lb)
16 - Front exhaust pipe
- Tightening sequence See Fig. 1
17 - Gasket
- Always replace
18 - Exhaust manifold
1 9 - Spacer bushing
20 - 35 Nm (26 ft lb)
21 - Secondary air intake
