- connect hand vacuum pump US 1390 to small diameter connector 1
- with suction at connector 2
- valve must close
- operate vacuum pump
- valve MUST open

- test check valve 3. It must have flow in the direction of the arrow, and be closed in the opposite direction

If NO
- replace shutoff valve
