Canvas, Removing/Installing

Removing
- Open camper roof, remove front bedboard and both cushions.







- Pull piping -3- and cord of canvas -1 - out of lower rail -2-.







- Remove upper rails -1- from camper roof around perimeter.
- Remove canvas -2- in an upward direction over camper roof.


Installing







- Fasten upper rails -1- at front and rear loosely to pop-up roof.
- Pull canvas over camper roof and position.


NOTE: Ensure canvas does not become dirty when pulling it over pop-up roof.


- Lay upper canvas cord -2- underneath, loosely screwed-in rails -1-.
- Fasten upper rails -1- at front and rear tightly.
- Fasten upper rails to long sides.
- Lower pop-up roof approx. 100 mm (4 in.), provide support.







- Insert cord canvas -1- into lower rail -2- and press piping -3- into lower rail with help of auxiliary tool VAG 1474/5.
