INSPECTION PROCEDURE

PROCEDURE

1. CHECK DTC OUTPUT (HEALTH CHECK)

(a) Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.

(b) Turn the power switch on (IG).

(c) Enter the following menus: Health Check.

(d) Check DTCs.

Result:





(e) Turn the power switch off.

A -- Continue to next step.

2. READ VALUE USING TECHSTREAM (CHARGE CANCEL HISTORY)

(a) Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.

(b) Turn the power switch on (IG).

(c) Enter the following menus: Powertrain / Plug-in Control / Utility / Charge Cancel History.

(d) Check for Charge Cancel History.

Result:





HINT
"Charge Cancel History" is stored only during plug-in charging. If "Charge Cancel History" was stored, it can be determined that plug-in charging was being performed.

(e) Turn the power switch off.

3. CAUSE ANALYSIS

(a) Perform cause analysis in the order of "Vehicle", "Environment" and "User" categories as specified in the following tables.
