Intake Air Control Valve Actuator (for Intake Air Control System)

2GR-FE INTAKE / EXHAUST: INTAKE AIR CONTROL VALVE (for Intake Air Control System): ON-VEHICLE INSPECTION

1. INSPECT INTAKE AIR CONTROL VALVE (for Intake Air Control System)

(a) Remove the inlet No. 2 air cleaner Removal.

(b) Using a vacuum pump, apply 27 kPa (200 mmHg, 7.88 in.Hg) or higher of vacuum to the diaphragm chamber and check that the valve moves.





(c) Wait 1 minute and check that the needle of the vacuum pump does not lower.

If the operation is not as specified, replace the air cleaner case sub-assembly.

(d) Install the inlet No. 2 air cleaner Installation.
