2GR-FE COOLING: THERMOSTAT: REMOVAL

1. DRAIN ENGINE COOLANT Service and Repair

2. REMOVE V-RIBBED BELT

Removal

3. REMOVE NO. 2 IDLER PULLEY SUB-ASSEMBLY Removal

4. DISCONNECT OUTLET RADIATOR HOSE Removal

5. REMOVE WATER INLET

(a) Remove the 2 nuts and water inlet.





6. REMOVE THERMOSTAT

(a) Remove the thermostat from the water inlet housing.

(b) Remove the gasket from the thermostat.
