1NZ-FE EXHAUST: EXHAUST PIPE: REMOVAL

1. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

2. REMOVE INSTRUMENT PANEL FINISH PANEL LOWER CENTER (for Sedan) Removal

3. REMOVE INSTRUMENT PANEL FINISH PANEL END LH (for Sedan) Removal

4. REMOVE SHIFT LEVER KNOB SUB-ASSEMBLY (for Manual Transaxle)

5. REMOVE SHIFTING HOLE COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY (for Hatchback Manual Transaxle) Removal

6. REMOVE UPPER CONSOLE PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY (for Sedan) Removal

7. REMOVE CONSOLE BOX COVER REAR (for Hatchback) Removal

8. REMOVE CONSOLE UPPER REAR PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY (for Sedan) Removal

9. REMOVE CONSOLE BOX CARPET Removal

10. REMOVE REAR CONSOLE BOX ASSEMBLY Removal

11. REMOVE INSTRUMENT PAD LOWER LH (for Sedan) Removal

12. REMOVE HEATED OXYGEN SENSOR Removal

13. REMOVE EXHAUST PIPE ASSEMBLY FRONT

(a) Remove the 4 bolts and 4 compression springs.

(b) Remove exhaust pipe support No. 4 and the exhaust front pipe assembly.





(c) Remove the 2 exhaust pipe gaskets.

14. REMOVE EXHAUST PIPE ASSEMBLY TAIL

(a) Remove the 2 No. 4 exhaust pipe supports and the exhaust tail pipe assembly. (for Hatchback)





(b) Remove the 3 No. 4 exhaust pipe supports and the exhaust tail pipe assembly. (for Sedan)
