Slip Indicator Light does not Come ON
DESCRIPTION
The skid control ECU is connected to the combination meter via CAN communication.
The SLIP indicator blinks during VSC and/or TRAC operation.
When the system fails, the SLIP indicator comes on to warn the driver Diagnosis System.

INSPECTION PROCEDURE
NOTICE: When replacing the skid control ECU, perform initialization of linear solenoid valve and calibration Initialization.
PROCEDURE
1. CHECK CAN COMMUNICATION SYSTEM
(a) Check if the CAN communication system DTC is output Diagnosis System.
Result:
B -- INSPECT CAN COMMUNICATION SYSTEM
A -- Continue to next step.
2. CHECK SLIP INDICATOR LIGHT
(a) Connect the intelligent tester to the DLC3.
(b) Turn the power switch on (READY).
(c) Select "SLIP INDI LAMP" in the Active Test and operate the SLIP indicator light using the intelligent tester.
ABS / VSC:
(d) Check that "ON" and "OFF" of the SLIP indicator light are indicated on the combination meter when using the intelligent tester.
OK:
The SLIP indicator light turns on or off in accordance with the intelligent tester.
HINT: If troubleshooting has been carried out according to the Problem Symptoms Table, refer back to the table and proceed to the next step before replacing the part Problem Symptoms Table.
OK -- REPLACE SKID CONTROL ECU
NG -- Continue to next step.
3. INSPECT COMBINATION METER ASSEMBLY
(a) Turn the power switch off.
(b) Perform Active Test of the combination meter (meter CPU) using the intelligent tester Meter / Gauge System.
OK:
The SLIP indicator light turns on or off in accordance with the intelligent tester.
HINT: If troubleshooting has been carried out according to the Problem Symptoms Table, refer back to the table and proceed to the next step Problem Symptoms Table.
NG -- REPLACE COMBINATION METER ASSEMBLY
OK -- REPLACE SKID CONTROL ECU
