3UR-FE CHARGING: GENERATOR:

INSTALLATION

1. INSTALL GENERATOR ASSEMBLY





(a) Install the generator with the 3 bolts and nut.
Torque: 43 Nm (439 kgf-cm, 32 ft-lbf)





(b) Connect the generator connector.
(c) Connect the generator wire with the nut.
Torque: 9.8 Nm (100 kgf-cm, 87 in-lbf)
(d) Install the terminal cap.
(e) Install the harness bracket to the generator with the bolt.
Torque: 31 Nm (316 kgf-cm, 23 ft-lbf)
2. CONNECT VANE PUMP ASSEMBLY (Installation)

3. INSTALL FRONT FENDER APRON SEAL RH
(a) Install the apron seal with the 5 clips.
4. INSTALL FAN AND GENERATOR V BELT (Installation)

5. INSTALL NO. 1 ENGINE UNDER COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY (Replacement)

6. INSTALL AIR CLEANER ASSEMBLY (Installation)

7. INSTALL AIR CLEANER HOSE ASSEMBLY (Installation)

8. INSTALL V-BANK COVER (Installation)

9. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

NOTE: Some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected (Repair Instruction - Initialization).
