Reading and Clearing Diagnostic Trouble Codes

CRUISE CONTROL SYSTEM: DTC CHECK / CLEAR


1. CHECK DTC
(a) Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
(b) Turn the ignition switch ON.
(c) Tune the tester on.
(d) Enter the following menus:
Powertrain / Cruise Control / Trouble Codes.
(e) Read the DTCs.
2. CLEAR DTC
(a) Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
(b) Turn the ignition switch ON.
(c) Tune the tester on.
(d) Enter the following menus:
Powertrain / Cruise Control / Trouble Codes.
(e) Erase the DTCs.
