Slip Indicator Light Does Not Come ON
BRAKE CONTROL: VEHICLE STABILITY CONTROL SYSTEM: Slip Indicator Light does not Come ON
Slip Indicator Light does not Come ON
DESCRIPTION
The SLIP indicator blinks during VSC, TRAC, A-TRAC, AUTO LSD, downhill assist control or hill-start assist control operation.
Operation of the VSC OFF switch changes the vehicle from normal mode to TRAC OFF mode (AUTO LSD mode) to VSC OFF mode. During normal mode, pressing the VSC OFF switch for a short amount of time changes vehicle to TRAC OFF mode. When the vehicle is stopped, pressing the VSC OFF switch for 3 seconds or more changes the vehicle to VSC OFF mode. During VSC OFF mode, the combination meter's VSC OFF indicator light and slip indicator light illuminate, and VSC, TRAC and AUTO LSD operation is disabled.
When the system fails, the SLIP indicator comes on to warn the driver Diagnosis System.
