DTC B1383 / 1386: Driver / Passenger Seat Belt Buckle Sensor Circuit Short to Ground

DTC Will be Set When
The voltage of seat belt buckle sensor circuit is below specified value for specified time.

Flow Test Description
Step 2: Check for short circuit between seat belt buckle sensor circuit and ground circuit.
Step 3: Check if malfunction is in seat belt buckle sensor.

DTC Troubleshooting

Step 1-3:

NOTE: Upon completion of inspection and repair work, perform the following items.
- Reconnect all air bag system components, ensure all components are properly mounted.
- Clear DTCs referring to DTC Clearance:Advanced Air Bag, if any.
- Repeat Air Bag Diagnostic System Check:Advanced Air Bag to confirm that the trouble has been corrected.
