DTC B1043: Passenger Air Bag (1st stage) Initiator Circuit Short to Ground

DTC Will be Set when
The voltage measured at passenger air bag (1st stage) (initiator) circuit is below a specified value for specified time.

Flow Test Description
Step 2: Check if malfunction is in passenger air bag (inflator) module (1st stage).
Step 3: Check passenger air bag (inflator) module (1st stage) initiator circuit. (Between "Q01" and "Q02")
Step 4: Check passenger air bag (inflator) module (1st stage) initiator circuit. (Between "G67" and "G46")

NOTE: Upon completion of inspection and repair work, perform the following items.
- Reconnect all air bag system components and ensure all components are properly mounted.
- Clear DTCs referring to DTC Clearance:Advanced Air Bag, if any.
- Repeat Air Bag Diagnostic System Check:Advanced Air Bag to confirm that the trouble has been corrected.
