Cruise Control Servo Cable: Adjustments

CRUISE CONTROL CABLE ADJUSTMENT




1. Remove the push-in retainers from the cruise control cable cover.
2. Remove the cruise control cable cover from the throttle body control bracket.
3. Verify that the throttle body is at the closed position in order to adjust the cable.
4. Adjust the thumb screw in order to remove any slack in the cruise control cable.
5. Verify that the throttle body cam returns to the closed position.
6. Install the cruise control cable cover to the throttle body control bracket.
7. Install the push-in retainers to the cruise control cable cover.
