Sunshade Anchor Replacement

Removal Procedure

1. Unhook the sunshade from the retainer.




2. Remove the sunshade retainer by inserting a small, flat-bladed tool to push upwards on the tab until the tab snaps upwards and is recessed in the retainer.
3. Gently pull downward on the retainer to remove the retainer from the headliner.

Installation Procedure





Important: Before the sunshade retainer is installed press on the back side of the locking retainer tab until the tab is in the pre-installation position.


1. Position the Locking Tab for installation.

* Position (1) Locking Tab - Pre-installation position
* Position (2) Locking Tab - Installed position
* Position (3) Locking Tab - Released position

2. Push the retainer upwards into the headliner
3. Press upwards on the tab until the tab is flush with the retainer
4. Return the sunshade to the original position
