Test D - A/C Compressor Clutch Test

1. With the jumper in place between terminals B and D of the A/C Compressor Control Relay, measure the voltages to ground at the A/C Compressor Clutch. Leave the clutch connector in place.
^ If voltages are correct but clutch does not engage, replace the A/C Compressor Clutch.
^ If Battery is not present at the LT GRN/BLK wire, check for open in the wire (966).
^ If voltage at the LT GRN/BLK wire is low, check for loose connector pins in the A/C Compressor Control Relay and the A/C Control Assembly.
^ If voltage at BLK wire is incorrect, remove the connector from the Pressure Cycling Switch and connect a fused jumper between the terminals of the connector.
^ If Compressor Clutch engages, check refrigerant charge according to specified procedures. If charge is OK, replace the Pressure Cycling Switch.
^ If Compressor Clutch does not engage, check BLK (152 and 150) wires for an open.
