POWER SUPPLY AND GROUND CIRCUIT

A/C AND AV SWITCH ASSEMBLY : Diagnosis Procedure

Regarding Wiring Diagram information, With Color Display.

1. CHECK FOR AUDIO DTCS WITH CONSULT

Using CONSULT, perform "SELF-DIAGNOSIS RESULTS" of MULTI AV.
Are there any audio DTCs present?
YES- Go to audio DTC index. Testing and Inspection.
NO- GO TO 2.

2. CHECK A/C AND AV SWITCH ASSEMBLY POWER SUPPLY






1.Disconnect the A/C and AV switch assembly connector.
2.Check voltage between A/C and AV switch assembly harness connector M98 terminal 3 and ground.





Is the inspection result normal?
YES- GO TO 4.
NO- GO TO 3.

3. CHECK FUSE

Check 10A fuse [No.17, located in the fuse block (J/B)].
NOTE:
Fuse Block - Junction Box (J/B).
Is the inspection result normal?
YES- Check harness for open circuit. Repair or replace if necessary.
NO- Check harness for short circuit. Repair or replace if necessary.

4. CHECK A/C AND AV SWITCH ASSEMBLY GROUND CIRCUIT






1.Turn ignition switch OFF.
2.Check continuity between A/C and AV switch assembly harness connector M98 terminal 1 and ground.
1 - Ground: Continuity should exist.
Is the inspection result normal?
YES- Replace the A/C and AV switch assembly. Refer to
With Color Display.
NO- Repair the harnesses or connectors.
