Code No. 17 Throttle position sensor/accelerator pedal position sensor system

Comment
This diagnostic trouble code is output if a voltage of 1.5 V or more when the closed throttle position switch is ON or 0.2 V or less when the closed throttle position switch is OFF is output for a continuous period of 4 seconds or more.

Probable cause
- Malfunction of the throttle position sensor/ accelerator pedal position sensor
- Malfunction of the connector
- Malfunction of the harness
- Malfunction of the auto-cruise control-ECU
