DTC 22

1. Check connections of electrical connectors for No. 1 cylinder sensor, repairing or replacing as necessary.
2. If connections are satisfactory, check voltage at ``N'' terminal of EGI control unit.
3. If voltage is not within specifications, EGI control unit is defective.
4. If voltage is within specifications, check voltage at ``D'' terminal of distributor connector.
5. If voltage is not within specifications, there is open or short circuit in wiring harness from ``D'' terminal of distributor connector to ``N'' terminal of EGI control unit or No. 1 cylinder sensor is defective.
6. If voltage is within specifications, EGI control unit is defective.
